Designed to connect with the platforms farms already use.
PrairieOps is designed to connect with external equipment and operational platforms over time. Integration data is used for operational awareness, records, dashboards, and workflow coordination.
What integrations are for
Farms already generate operational data across manufacturer platforms, telematics systems, and field tools. PrairieOps integrations are about bringing relevant context into the place where the farm team coordinates work.
Operational awareness
Equipment and field context visible alongside the tasks and service records the team already works from.
Recordkeeping
Operational data synchronized into farm records — reducing double entry and reconstructed history.
Workflow coordination
Connecting what's happening in the field with the people coordinating service, parts, and daily work.
Clear boundaries: PrairieOps uses integrations to improve operational awareness, recordkeeping, and workflow coordination. PrairieOps does not control equipment or replace manufacturer systems. Manufacturer platforms remain the system of record for their equipment. PrairieOps reads permitted operational data to support farm workflows — nothing more.
Future integration direction
Planned integration areas, subject to platform approvals and partner agreements:
- Equipment platformsManufacturer and platform APIs offered by equipment manufacturers and ag data platforms, as approved sources of equipment and operational data. No live manufacturer integrations are claimed today.
- Machine status & telemetry visibilitySurfacing permitted machine status and telemetry context where it helps the team coordinate — visibility, not control.
- Field records & mapping layersField boundaries, operation records, and mapping context connected to PrairieOps field logs.
- Operational data synchronizationKeeping records consistent between PrairieOps and external platforms, with farm-controlled permissions.
How we build integrations
- Vendor logic stays isolatedVendor-specific integration logic is kept separate from core PrairieOps workflows, so the platform never depends on any single external system.
- Permission-based accessIntegration data access would be granted by the farm, scoped to the farm, and revocable by the farm.
- Honest scopeWe don't claim live integrations that don't exist. Integration partners and platform applications are represented accurately, in their actual state.
